OffGrid Ledger Co. makes printable field tools and downloadable, fillable PDFs for land research, backcountry travel, preparedness, and dark-sky observation. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean OffGrid Ledger Co..

We collect information you choose to give us and limited information needed to operate a secure storefront. What we receive depends on what you do on the site.

• Orders and checkout. We may receive your name, email address, purchase and delivery details, and transaction status so we can process an order, deliver a digital file, and help when something goes wrong. Payment details are handled by payment providers; we generally receive transaction information rather than your full payment-card number.
• Opt-in email or waitlist submissions. If you join a newsletter, waitlist, or other optional update list, we collect the email address and any other details you submit to manage that request and send the updates you asked for.
• Account, review, and contact information. If you create an account, submit a review, or contact us, we may collect the account or profile details, review text, display name, and message information you provide.
• Basic site and usage data. We may receive technical and usage information such as pages viewed, referring pages, browser or device type, timestamps, and approximate location derived from an IP address. Site operations and analytics tools may use cookies or similar technologies, and the exact data depends on which services are enabled.

We may use information to:

• process payment and deliver the digital product you requested;
• respond to questions, support requests, reviews, and delivery problems;
• send an opt-in update or waitlist message, with an unsubscribe option where applicable;
• understand how the storefront is used and improve its pages, products, and checkout;
• protect the site, prevent fraud or abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues; and
• meet legal, accounting, or operational obligations.

Printable PDF tools are one-time purchases unless a separate offer clearly says otherwise at checkout. Joining an optional email list or waitlist is not a purchase and does not create a subscription to a PDF product.

We may share the minimum information needed with service providers that help us host the site, process checkout, deliver files, send requested email, provide security, or understand site usage. Those providers receive information for the service they perform for us, not for us to sell your personal information.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the site or someone's rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale. We do not rent or sell your personal information for someone else's advertising.

We keep order, delivery, and accounting records for as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, support, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. We keep opt-in list information until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed. Messages and reviews are retained for as long as needed to respond, operate the site, or maintain a useful record.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the information we handle. No website, transmission, or storage system can be promised completely secure, so please use care when sending information online.

• Marketing messages. Use the unsubscribe link in an optional email or contact us to stop those messages. We may still send service messages about an order or support request.
• Access and corrections. You can ask what personal information we have about you or request a correction by emailing us. Depending on the situation and applicable law, you may also ask us to delete information or limit certain processing.
• Cookies and analytics. Your browser may provide controls for cookies and similar technologies. Turning them off can affect some site features, and necessary operational data may still be used.

If you contact us about a request, we may need to verify that we are speaking with the right person before making a change. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights.

We may update this policy as the storefront, products, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top will show when it was last revised. If a change is important, we will provide notice in a reasonable way when appropriate.
